French mid-size carriage clock repeater with alarm, retailed by Tiffany & Co, New York, strikes on the hour and half and when button is depressed, brass case, signed Tiffany only on white enamel dial, right angle lever escapement, no s#, measures 7.5 inches to top of upright handle. Unusual wooden fitted carry and display case, with key.
CONDITION:
Mvt: GRO, good repeater and alarm function, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, scattered fine and micro-fine scratches and slight discoloration to plates; dial has only one small scratch on inner chapter near 2 and 3; fine hands, hour and minute hands have some loss of bluing, hour hand has slight bend at tip; case shows light wear, slight discoloration, no dents or dings; good glass beveled panels, top panel has small chip on bevel.
